About

Hi, I’m Oluwatoyosi

I help young people build a consistent daily walk with God through devotionals, without pressure. If you want to grow closer to God but have struggled with consistency, confusion or knowing where to start, this space is for you.

Daily Devotional Today began from my own journey with God. For many years, I wanted a deeper and more consistent walk with Him. I would start with passion, then struggle to keep the same rhythm when life became busy. I knew what it was like to begin a year determined to be consistent and lose momentum by March or halfway through the year.

Around 2020, God began to teach me that consistency is not built by pressure or perfection. It grows when we show up each day, even in small and simple ways.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

Psalm 119:105 (NIV)

In 2021, by God’s grace, I was consistent in my time with God for all 365 days of the year. I was working as a banker, caring for my home and handling several other responsibilities at the time. That year meant a great deal to me because it helped me break the pattern of starting strong and gradually fading out.

Over time, through a vision, the Lord placed it on my heart to help other people build the same kind of steady walk with Him. My desire is not only for people to bring their wants and needs to God, but for them to know His love through Jesus Christ, love His presence and enjoy daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

That is how Daily Devotional Today began. It is my way of walking with people who want to be consistent with God but feel overwhelmed, do not know where to start, or feel discouraged by attempts that did not last. My heart is to make devotion simple, relatable and sustainable, so that we can keep growing with God one day at a time.

Our mission

Changing the world one step at a time through the lens of God’s Word

Daily Devotional Today exists to make devotion simple, relatable and sustainable. Through daily devotionals, we help young people understand God’s Word, enjoy fellowship with the Holy Spirit and take one step at a time in their walk with God.
